Sneaky Pies Privacy Policy

AppsurdlyGood · Effective 16 October 2026 · Applies to the Sneaky Pies apps for iPhone and Android and the web version at sneaky-pies-asg.web.app

Sneaky Pies is a free puzzle game made by AppsurdlyGood ("we"). Ads pay for it. This page explains what data the game uses, who handles it, and what you can control. We don't sell your personal information, we don't ask for your real name, email or phone number, and you never need an account.

1. Data that stays on your device

Your level progress, stars, scores, hints, settings, chosen nickname and pie colors, your local game history, and whether you bought "Remove ads" are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. We don't receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.

2. Ads (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads served by Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of some screens, a full-screen ad between some games (at most one every 3 completed games, never during a game), and optional "hint videos" you choose to watch for a free hint. To serve, limit, measure and prevent fraud on ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and processes data from your device, including:

Google uses this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices:

3. Friend play (Google Firebase)

If you start or join a game with a friend, the game uses Google Firebase:

Firebase processes this data for us as a service provider. See the Firebase privacy information. Solo, daily and pass-and-play games never touch Firebase. Friend games are not deleted automatically right now. To have yours deleted, email us your invite codes at the address below.

4. Purchases

"Remove ads" is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. They handle payment, and we never see your card or account details. The app only asks the store whether this device's store account owns the purchase, so it can turn ads off and offer "Restore purchases".

5. Children

Sneaky Pies is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through friend-play nicknames, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Sharing, security and retention

We share data only with the providers above (Google AdMob and Google Firebase), and with app stores for purchases. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). AdMob data is kept according to Google's policies. Local data stays on your device until you delete the app.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, delete or correct your data, or to object to its use. Because we don't hold your name or email, the easiest controls are the in-app consent settings, your phone's ad settings, and deleting the app. For friend-game data, or any other request, contact us.

8. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Questions: AppsurdlyGood · info@app-surdlygood.com
